THINGS TO DO IN QATAR

Located in the Middle East, Qatar is an Arabian country with its capital known as Doha. It is known for having futuristic skyscrapers and aesthetic architecture greatly inspired by the city's ancient Islamic design an example of which is the limestone museum of Islamic Art.

The terrain of Qatar comprises of an arid desert and a long Persian (Arab) Gulf shoreline of beaches and dunes. The Fort was built in 1938 and used by the military up until 1980s. The only sad thing about the fort is that the archaeological exhibits have been neglected, but notwithstanding the fort is still worth a visit at least for the bleak views from its battlements.
